Prima provides a dynamic live auction environment and experience to any number of bidders for specified time and event-driven auctions. Prima will manage a customer’s auction automatically: the customer sets parameters such as opening bid, bid increment, time between last bid and “going once”, etc. Prima uses communication technology similar to instant messaging to share bid information with participants. In this way, participants never have to refresh their web page to see the instantaneous bids of other participants and the auctioneer’s reactions to these bids.
